Crash with Entrapment on Jericho Road

On Thursday, June 17 at approximately 1600 hours, the Essex Junction Fire Department was dispatched to respond to assist the Essex Fire Department with a motor vehicle crash with entrapment on Jericho Road at Weed Road.
Engine 5 responded and arrived on the scene to find Essex Firefighters working on extricating the driver of one vehicle. EJFD Firefighters assisted with completion of the extrication and removal of the victim, who was moderately trapped in the vehicle. Ultimately the roof and driver's door were removed from the vehicle, as well as the dash being rolled. The crew then assisted with securing the battery of the second vehicle involved.
Engine 5 departed the scene after approximately 30 minutes.
